If there’s one thing I love about New York City, it’s heaven for street photographers! I could literally shoot all day. I love the diversity and interesting individuals on the busy streets. There are so many things to shoot I am never bored! Like…just so many! We spent one day roaming through part of the city. I wish we could explore more but time is short and there’s always next time. I’m just glad to document a few photos.
I can’t express how much I love street photography! My go-to lens for street photography is usually my Sigma 20mm f1.4 art and Canon 70-200mm f2.8 II but unfortunately this time I did not bring them. I felt incomplete. I mistaken the 85mm for the 20mm since they look similar granted I did not paid enough attention while packing. My 85mm is strictly for portraits only but I guess it did alright for street. I kinda like it. Maybe I should replace with the 70-200mm since it’s close up enough I probably get less awkward stares haha I mean I did scared some people that’s because I obviously took a shot right in their face lol. The 70-200mm is too noticeable since it’s white but so handy for my style. Why Canon decided to make it white though *sigh*.

I bought the Canon G7X Mark II few months ago but I never get to use it. Luckily I brought it with me. There’s noway my 85mm could capture wide range so it was a good time to test the camera. I loved it! I will do a review soon. Can’t spoil much.
